EFEKTIVITAS PROGRAM PELATIHAN “GURU PEDULI” GUNA MENGURANGI BULLYINGDI SEKOLAH DASAR


Abstract
This study investigates one strategy to reduce bullying in elementary school, “Guru Peduli”, by way of an training for teacher. This training wanted to increase teachers’ awareness, knowledge, and skills to prevent and reduce bullying. The aim of this quasi experimental research was to test the effectiveness of “Guru Peduli” training for reducing elementary school bullying. Two elementary school were assigned to an experiment or control group. Six classes for class observation and six location for playground observation were observed either before and after the training. The data was analyzed with Wilcoxon Signed- Rank and Mann-Whitney test. The data showed that there was a significant difference of bullying between experimental and control school. There was also a significant bullying reduction in experimental school after the training.

Kesimpulan
Pelatihan “Guru Peduli” terbukti efektif untuk mengurangi perilaku  bullying di sekolah dasar. Perilaku  bullying di sekolah terbukti menurun setelah guru mendapat pelatihan serta melakukan aktivitas nyata guna pencegahan dan penanganan bullying. Hasil analisis kualitatif yang didapat melalui lembar refleksi dan evaluasi guru, lembar monitoring, serta pencatatan kualitatif pada saat observasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini telah membantu guru dan siswa dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanganan bullying. Beberapa hasil positif yang menonjol antara lain adalah guru merasa memiliki pengetahuan dan ke terampilan yang cukup untuk mencegah dan menangani bullying serta nampak perubahan perilaku pada guru dan siswa ketika dihadapkan pada situasi tertentu yang
mengarah pada  bullying.
