Peranan teknologi
informasi dalam menunjang sistem operasional dan manajerial pada instansi
pemerintahan dewasa ini dirasakan semakin penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan
untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penggunaan
sistem informasi serta pengaruh penggunaan sistem informasi terhadap kinerja
individual maupun organisasi. Peneliti mencoba melakukan analisis terhadap
faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penggunaan sistem informasi dalam meningkatkan
kinerja pemerintah daerah di Provinsi Maluku Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan
model TPC (Technology to Perfomance Chain) dengan menghilangkan pengaruh langsung
dari TTF (Task-Technology Fit) ke Pemakaian (Utilization). Penelitian ini juga
memasukkan faktor sosial (social factor) sebagai salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi
penggunaan sistem informasi.
Teknik penelitian
berupa survei dengan menyebarkan 150 kuisioner di Pemerintah Daerah Provinsi
Maluku Utara, sementara pengambilan sampel dengan cara purposive sampling. Data
yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode PLS dan
menggunakan software VisualPLS .
Hasil dari
penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa 1) tugas tidak berpengaruh terhadap kesesuaian
tugas-teknologi, 2) Teknologi berpengaruh terhadap kesesuaian tugas-teknologi,
3) Faktor sosial berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan sistem informasi, 4)
Kesesuaian tugas-teknologi tidak berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan sistem
informasi, dan 5) penggunaan sistem informasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja.
ABSTRACT
The role of
information technology in support of operational and managerial systems at
government now is felt more and more
important. This research purpose to determine the extent to which use of
information systems and the influence of the use of information systems on
individual and organizational performance. Researchers tried to conduct an
analysis of the factors that influence the use of information systems in
improving the performance of local governments in the province of Maluku Utara.
This study uses a model TPC (Technology to Perfomance Chain) by eliminating the
direct influence from the TTF (Task-Technology Fit) to Use (Utilization). This
research also include social factors (social factor) as one of the factors
affecting the use of information systems.
Method research is
a survey by distributing 150 questionnaires at the Regional Government of North
Maluku province, while sampling the purposive sampling. The data obtained were
then analyzed using the PLS method, and using software Visual PLS.
Results from this
study states that 1) the task did not affect the task-technology fit, 2)
technology affect to task-technology fit, 3) social factors affect to the use
of information systems, 4) Task- Teknologi Fit does not affect the use of
information systems, and 5) use of information systems affect the performance.
